Meursault is an appellation not to be missed. And not only for the prestige of its label. No other village in the Côte d'Or offers such a variety of great white wines. These wines are the often quoted as a benchmark and they inspire Chardonnay producers all over the world.
The village has almost 400 hectares of vines almost exclusively dedicated to the production of white wines. Amongst the numerous vineyards blossoming on its hillsides, Cromin is situated in the north, near the village, halfway up the hillside. The parcels exposure to sunshine assures high maturity levels in the grapes. It is a soil which generally gives forth full-bodied whites with generous aromas. They are wines which have great cellaring potential.
